What Changes the Cost of a Chimney Sweep
Most Dallas homes fit the standard price. A few things can raise it, and we tell you before we start:
- More than one flue. Each flue is swept and inspected on its own.
- A wood stove or insert. These take longer to take apart and clean.
- Heavy or glazed creosote. A hard, shiny coating needs more work to remove safely.
- Nests and blockages. They have to come out before the flue can be swept.
- A very tall or steep roof. Extra safety setup takes extra time.
